Registering Policy

When registering at thefishsouq.com, please be sure to enter all personal details correctly.

By registering with The Fish Souq, you agree with all Terms and Conditions.

Ordering Policy

Just follow our simple order policy as set out on our website. However, due to the nature of our business, our availability and prices change frequently.

Please note: seasonality, weather and even regulatory closures can affect our orders.

Refund Policy

We at Fish Souq take pride in supporting our customers through their seafood adventures & we do our best to ensure an amazing experience.

Note: Fish and seafood are perishable goods, thus they cannot be refunded. Special orders and Gift Cards cannot be returned.

Please contact us before the order ships and we will cancel the order without charge.

Exchange & Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately, we cannot exchange the contents of an order after payment is received.

You may reach us directly if you have any issues with your order, shipping or handling:

Customer Rights:

  • Right to return if the order is incorrect (must be kept cold until returned).
  • Right to cancel within 1 hour after payment. After that, no cancellation is allowed.
  • Refunds for card/bank orders are processed within 21 business days.
  • If a return is accepted, deductions apply: 2.2 + EGP per bank transaction + delivery cost (delivery value is non-refundable).

Payment Policy

We accept payment in advance through Instapay & digital wallets; we do not take payment on delivery.

The Fish Souq will not pass on any of your personal details to third parties.

Fish Delivery Policy

Ordering & Schedule:

  • Orders accepted Saturday–Wednesday. (Closed Thursday & Friday)
  • Delivery timeframe: 1–3 working days depending on the catch of the day.
  • We do not store or refrigerate fish to maintain freshness.
  • Orders are delivered three days a week: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
  • Pickup may be available if confirmed ready.

Delivery & Shipping:

  • Currently available in Alexandria only.
  • Delivery cost: 50–100 EGP depending on destination.
  • Outside city: delivery possible with prior agreement and an additional fee (per agent’s approval).
  • Weather conditions may cause delivery delays.

Statement

We deliver fish raw from the boat to your door without any cleaning process or preparation.

Additional Notes:

  • You must request a return via WhatsApp within 1 hour of delivery if there are issues or notes.
  • We always ensure that our products are carefully selected and of top quality.
  • Orders cannot be canceled after payment. If goods are not received upon delivery, the order will be canceled and payment will not be refunded.
